General information

This is a small, one bedroom apartment that fits four people (there is one double bed and one double sofa bed). It is a two storey duplex apartment. The base floor has a bathroom, a kitchenette and a living room (with a double sofa bed). It is very bright and sunny. The master bedroom is located on the top floor and it is accessible through a staircase in the living room.

Location

This small studio apartment is located on Calle Mayor 1, right in the corner with the famous Puerta del Sol. This is considered Madrid's historical and cultural city centre. Puerta del Sol is, in fact, Spain’s Kilometer 0, from where all the country's street and road distances are measured. This is a safe area, populated with coffee shops, old style Spanish "tapas bars" and and very accessible with a subway station (Sol) just across the street.

This neighborhood is by far the most vibrant area of Madrid. It is surrounded by theaters, cinemas and restaurants. The main Madrid Tourist Information Office, an essential stop for any tourists in Madrid, is also located very close by (Plaza Mayor 27).

This privileged location will allow you to walk to most of Madrid’s tourist sites, such us Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, Gran Vía or the museums area (Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofía). From here, you will be able to enjoy a perfect day for tourism, leisure and culture by foot.

An initial 20% non-refundable deposit is required to complete your booking. The outstanding balance and a 40 EURO cleaning fee are due on arrival in cash.

The establishment will also ask for a refundable 150 EURO security deposit. This amount will be returned upon check-out after assessing the apartment.

Remember that after arriving to Madrid and before heading to the apartment, you must call to confirm your check in time. The number to call will be provided in the reservation confirmation email.
