Prado apartment (James Price, United States - January, 2012): The location of this apartment is fantastic. It is less than a 5-minute walk from the Prado Museum and only about a 10 minute walk from the Atocha train station. It was very quiet, even on New Year's Eve! Checking in and out of the apartment was very easy, and I appreciate the contact that was kept prior to our arrival, verifying arrival information and exactly what we would need in the apartment. |
Latina apartment (Paul Petit, France - January, 2012): Great location, in the heart of la Latina. Very cute and nice apartment, great shower. Slightly small for 4 people, can only be 2 couples. Very functional and nicely designed. Need to add a couple of items for the premium price we paid: hair dryer, small speakers for i-pod or computer, more wine glasses and champagne flutes, but these are details. Would also change the black carpet which brings tons of dust in the apartment. Would most likely rent it again when I come back to Madrid. |
Retiro apartment (Andy Seale, Switzerland - January, 2012): We stayed in the Retiro apartment over new year 2011/2012 and loved the apartment. It is spacious and simply but stylishly decorated and in a superb location between the Del Prado museum and Retiro Park. Note that it is a basement apartment with no direct sunlight and no view - but the design of the lighting inside the apartment is well thought through to make up for that.
